The Company/Contact Module allows you to keep track of all your contacts, customers, suppliers and competitors. This is a feature rich module, with the exception of the Managed Web module, this module is at the heart of MCAP.NET. All external and internal information sources relate back to a company, whether it is a Supplier, On Line Customer, Off Line Customer, Your own Company or a Competitor. One of the companies will be yours and this will then turn all contacts for your company into employees, providing further power for traceability of employee details.

Each Company can have multiple sites and each contact is associated to the company. Information storage is unlimited, governed only by the server space.

 Some key information captured on a company is:

• Name, Main Telephone & Fax numbers.
• A central main email address
• Tax Rate ie 17.5. (this links to the order module and on line ordering to calculate the correct VAT values)
• Company Registration number and Vat registration no.
• Main Invoice Address
• Main Shipping Address (again used for orders and tracking)
• Their web site address
• There Head Quarters address
• The type of company i.e., Customer, Supplier or competitor (This list of types is completely maintainable by you, so its easy to add new ones like , Associates for example.
• On Line order tracking. Making the companies orders available on line for tracking purposes.

A Site for a Company captures:

• Address, City/Town, Post Code, County and Country
• Site telephone and fax numbers.
• A map is available for every post code, this helps give directions to your staff if they have to visit a customer or supplier.

A Contact for a company captures:

• Title i.e. Mr, Mrs, their First Name andLast Name
• Their email address, telephone number and mobile number
• The site they are associated or based at
• A status and password for allowing them to login to a secure part of your website.
